Show usu Center offers classes Utah State University Education Center will hold two classes under the direction of the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Utah State University. Dr. Robert Sorenson, department head, will instruct in-struct the Stress Management Manage-ment and Self Esteem courses. Stress Manage1 ment which carries one credit, will be Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m. and Nov. 1 at 8 a.m. Self Esteem, which is also one credit, will be Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m. and Nov. 15 at 8 a.m. Stress Management will cover the understanding understan-ding of the nature of stress and the physiological and psycholigical reaction to it. Techniques to prevent and reduce stress will be discussed. The Self Esteem course I will be looking at how people perceive themselves in a realistic way. It will deal with building self esteem, coping cop-ing techniques and ego inflation in-flation and deflation techniques. The course will be approached ap-proached in a positive manner, but will cover the negative things that deflate ego, cause low esteem and depression.
