They were pleasantly surprised to meet a former Vernal resident, Elva Rasmussen Markwad. Erma Carter and Elva are cousins. The Woolleys, Erma and Marion returned home - Sunday. Mrs. Frances Hartle traveled to Salt Lake City with Lula Kendall last Sunday. She will visit her families. Shary Hartle, Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Duayne Wall and family, West Valley City and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Rogers, Sandy. She will stay for two weeks. Mrs. Jennie Weeks from Salt Lake City is a guest at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Lloyd and Alta Winward. She plans to visit her . sister-in-law, Mrs. Shirley (sally) Weeks. Shirley Weeks is convalescing in the Roosevelt Rest Home. Mr. and Mrs. Aubra Hodgkinson are at home after returning from Salt Lake City where Aubra underwent extensive surgery at the LDS Hospital. Paula reports that Aubra is recuperating satisfactorily and more than happy to be home. The first occasion to be together in seventeen years for the deer hunt were the sons of Electa Caldwell: Max Caldwell and son Rich from Springville; Lee and son Conrad from American Fork; Roy from Provo. They and a friend, Doyle Davis from Jensen enjoyed a success of five bucks out of a party of six hunters. Marilyn, wife to Roy, and children visited with Electa during the hunt. Duane Wall and son Kevin from West Valley City visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Wall. Along with Doug Wall and sons Jeff and Darren and George Wall, they enjoyed the deer hunt on Blue Mountain. 1 Omitted from last week)' "J " -' Mr. and Mrs. Sam Murray from Grand Junction visited with Mr. and Mrs. Dell Jacobsen. Mr. Murray and Mrs. Jacobsen are brother and sister. They also visited with another sister, Mrs. Ed (Veda) Labrum in Roosevelt. |
