Show i - - . . - 1 VIRGINIA FELTER Central teacher chosen 'Employee of the month' Mrs. Virginia Felter was selected by the Teacher's Advisory Council as Uintah Uin-tah School District's "Employee of the Month." Mrs. Felter is a first grade teacher at Central Elementary. She has taught in the Uintah School District for 18 years; 15 years at Central and three years at Naples Elementary. Mrs. Felter was chosen by the advisory ad-visory council because of her value as an employee and outstanding teacher in the district. "She always puts forth extra effort to keep her students on top. She cares about them and works many hours preparing material for her class before school starts in the fall," said the council coun-cil stating the reason for their choice. "Mrs. Felter takes great pride in saying that her students are really ready for second grade," said Ashel Evans, principal at Central Elementary. Elemen-tary. "She is a hard worker and always arrives early in order to be prepared when school starts." "Mrs. Felter is very considerate of other people and especially those in need," added the council. "She is always more than willing to share her ideas with other teachers, and is held in high regard by her co-workers." Mrs. Felter is a Utah State University . graduate. She was married to the late Colonel Randell Felter and are the parents of two children, Allen and Marilynn. Mrs. Felter was presented a plaque and certificate as award for being selected Employee of the Month. |
