Ushers were Brad Murray, Doak and Scott Chew, brothers of the groom and'1 .. .L, May, -brothers of the bride. Mrs. May was dressed in a full length" soft burgandy and grey wool jumper accented by an ivory blouse trimmed with lace, wearing a corsage of ivory carnations and burgandy trim. Mrs. Chew wore a full length blue crepe long sleeved dress with blue lace trim and pink carnations. The brides grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Biffle wore a green and white street length dress and the groom's grandmother, Mrs. J. Ferron Hacking wore a pink street length dress and Mrs. Doug Chew wore a soft pink dress with all the grandmothers grand-mothers wearing ivory carnation corsages. An open house was held for the bride and groom at the Chew Ranch in Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Bill May, Mr. and Mrs. Scott May, Mr. and Mrs. J. May and sons, and Mrs. Gladys Biffle were guests from Steamboat Springs. Other guests were Barbara and Nancy Breternitz from Boulder, Colo. ; Enola (Chew) Burdick from Salt Lake City; Melba and Jon Hill, Rangely, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Nay, Norwood, Colo.; and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Green, Elk Springs, Colo. Among family members present were the groom's two sets of grandparents, the Doug Chews and S. Ferron Hackings of Vernal and the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Biffle of Clayton, N.M. Alan is employed in ranching with his father and brothers on the Chew ranch. Alan and Grace took their wedding trip along the California and Oregon coast. |
