Among Black Hawk campers at Cedar City the past week end were, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Rich-mand Rich-mand and family, Mrs. Aileen Lopez Lo-pez and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Childs and children, Mrs. Vera Johnson and family. The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Childs thrilled the crowds with her acrobatic acro-batic dancing during Springville's program. Russen Bird and Lewis Bird and families spent an enjoyable week end at Fish Lake. Mr and Mrs. Paul Walker and family accompanied by Mrs. Walker's Wal-ker's sister, Mrs. Lew W. Beason of Ogden have returned from an enjoyable vacation trip to Zion, Grand and Bryces canyons. , Mr. and Mrs. Dan Copeland and daughter and son have returned to their home in Los Angeles, Calif., following a week's visit with Mrs. Copeland'a parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cates in Springville! Following the Black Hawk encampment, en-campment, Mr. and Mrs Alma Fullmer, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Mort-ensen Mort-ensen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Don Rigby and family and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Averett visited the canyons in Southern Utah. Miss Zina Johnson and Miss Maria Johnson ' have returned from an enjoyable visit with Mr. and Mrs. Chester A Johnson and family in Richfield, Ida. Drs. C. A and Mary King took their family to Fish Lake where they spent an enjoyable week-end. Ray Klauck and son Allan were week end visitors at Fish Lake. Ray gave a talk before the Fil-more Fil-more Jaycees Friday evening and went from there to the lake. Mr. and Mrs. Marten Strong and son Ronald of Salt Lake City spent the past week as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cates in Springville. . Mrs.Lillian B. Corry has had as her guest the past week, Mrs. J. G. Pace of Holbrook, Nebr , who was a former resident teacher at the BAC at Cedar City, where Mrs. Corry formerly resided. Mr. and Mrs. George C. Miner of Magna have been visiting at the home of Mrs. Margaret Miner and with other relatives and friends here . Mrs. R. L. Althouse and children chil-dren have arrived in Springville from Henderson, Nev., and plan to make their home here. Mr. Alt-house Alt-house plans to join his family later. Mr. and Mrs. Waldon Hurst of Mapleton has as their guests the past week, Mrs. Hursts mother, Mrs. John Bush, also Mr. and Mrs. Carl Julander and Mr. and - Mrs. Buz Winn all of Elsinore. Attending the state convention of the American Legion and Auxiliary Aux-iliary the past week end at Ogden, were: Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Chader, Mr. and Mrs Clay Beesley, Mr. and Mrs. Bird Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Miner, Mr. and Mrs. Lacelle Sumsion, Mr. and Mrs.. Harlan Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Frandsen anT Mr. and Mrs. Bill Phillips. Margene Hurst of Mapleton is convalescing from a fractured arm which she suffered in a fall from a horse near her home at Mapleton Maple-ton last week. Miss Pauline Pulsipher, daughter daugh-ter of Mr and Mrs. Wilford Pulsipher Pul-sipher of Denver, Colo., has returned re-turned to her home after several weeks vacation with her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Blan-chard. Blan-chard. She was accompanied to Denver by Miss Elaine Wing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wing. Miss Wing will be accompanied accom-panied home by Miss Carol Richmond Rich-mond of Salt Lake City, a cousin of Pauline who has been visiting in Denver. 0 Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kearns and family of Seattle, Wash., have been visiting recently with Mrs. Kearns sisters, Mrs Norris Binks, and Mrs. D. S. Hopia and families at Mapleton and with Mr. Kearns mother, Mrs. Rhetta Kearns and other relatives and friends here and in Provo. Mrs. Lillian Lewis of Overton, Nev.. has been visiting relatives and friends in Springville, Provo and Salt Lake City. |
