Show &Farm Names Offer Field For Study The names town people choose for their farma and country homes offer a field for scholarly study, perhaps by a psychologist. Quite likely a real "Mortgage Manor" once amused its owners and the neighbors. A man we know insists that his place is named "Belly Acres." A station wagon that stood near the office here recently was marked "Fallen Larches." Frank S. Archibald, the gracious humorist of our circulation department, depart-ment, invented a name to end all such nonsense. He lives in a fourth four-th floor apartment, and writes on stationery engraved "No Acres." |
