DOWN EXPENSE Whether it's the little woman or the man of the house and whether living in town or country, the modern householder is interested in trying to reduce living costs these days of rocketing prices. The home freezer locker, of which several types are being displayed dis-played is one of the best bets for whittling down expenses. Among the first questions to arise in purchasing a home freezer locker is, "What size to get?" The number of persons in the family usually determines this, as well as the type of food to be stored. If it will serve to store meat, it should be large enough to handle only the maximum amount of meat that would . be butchered at one time. If used for storing frozen fruits and vegetables vege-tables also, it should be larger. A freezer capacity of approximately five cubic feet per person is the minimum size recommended' by homemaking authorities! A wise alternative is to plan on purchase of two small lockers if in doubt, rather than to get one that may prove too large.
