Show Your Efforts Will Be Appreciated . . . i The Springville Recreation Board and City Officials are gratified grati-fied by the support given the big Kelly's Grove clean-up campaign that got underway last week. A great deal was accomplished in the two past Wednesday but a lot of work still remains to be done, they report. Another day has been sA, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, August 25, and every following fol-lowing Wednesday will be devoted to clean-up until the job is finished and Kelly's Grove has been transformed trans-formed into a first-rate canyon recreation area. Almost any type of tool can be used in the clean-up. If you havn't an axe, shovel, or grubbing hoe, just bring a pair of gloves. There will be something for you to do. The recreation site, has grown j, wild for many years and needs a thorough cleaning before any play equipment or picnic stoves and tables can be set in place, reports Mr. Johnson. A complete master plan drawn in detail to scale has been made by Dale Despain of the County Planning Board which will serve as a guide for all improvements and picnic and play equipment to be installed at the Grove. The first Wednesday the Federated Feder-ated Women's Clubs and all Ladies Auxiliary organizations were on hand to serve refreshments. refresh-ments. Their efforts were greatly appreciated. Let's turn out and support this big civic undertaking and show what can be done when Springville Spring-ville citizens make up their minds to do something worthwhile for their community. |
