Nelson of the Elks' 1( Liberty loan commlttco reported that tho " committee had sold, prior to the opeii- IL ing of the lodge session, a total of $215,600 11 in bonds. Every sale was closed, with ' I lie payment of either the first Installment c or the full purchase price. " John Dorn said he would not see tho ' committee and tho lodge disappointed In 'I its promise, and purchased $1000 in 1' bonds. This sale was followed by $200 in ! small bonds to members attending the - session, and tho board of trustees, on ' behalf of the lodge, purcliased the neces- '; wiry $360 to make the $25,000 total. Mr. Nelson reported that the commit- leo members had sold their bonds to a lotal of 228 purchasers, involving pcr- J sonal calls on the greater number of 9 these.
