Show CAMERA MEN ARE ACTIVE AT FRONT Henry Warren Poor, who was over in France at the outbreak of hostilities in 1914, taking war pictures for Underwood Under-wood & Underwood of New York, arrived in Salt Lake vesterday on his way to the coast to fill lecture engagements, under the management of the Ellison & White Chautauqua circuit. Mr. Poor said the Underwood & Underwood Under-wood company has taken more than 2p,-000 2p,-000 pictures'1 of the war to date. The photographers, he said, do their work in company with the soldiers, take part in the midst of the fighting and are absolutely abso-lutely fearless of death. He added that their aim was to get close-ups, and nothing noth-ing else would satisfy them. Mr. Reor will leave early this afternoon. |
