Show VOCATIONAL WORK IN SCHOOLS IS DISCUSSED Special to The Tribune. BRIGHAM CITY, May 1. In the interests in-terests of vocational work In the schools of Boxelder county, Francis W. Kirkham, state director of vocational work under the Smith-Hughes act; I. Ball, state supervisor of agriculture, and W. G. Hummell, government director for the western division of the same activity, visited this city Monday evening and held a meeting with local educators. Those in attendance from here were Frank W. Fishburn of the board of education, edu-cation, Superintendent C. H. Skidmore, Principal F. A. Hinckley of the high school, W. J. Glenn, supervisor of boys' and girls' club work ; Bevard Nichols, Instructor in agriculture in the high school, and County Agricultural Agent Robert H. Stewart. The visitors were pleased with conditions condi-tions they found here, and of the progress prog-ress of the work already undertaken in the schools in the way of vocational activity. |
