I I I j H - j Complying with the request of the War Economy Board of the Council of National Defense, and in accordance with the resolution adopted by the Board of Directors of the National Automobile Dealers Association at St. I Louis, May 18, 1918, the following wartime policy will be enforced by the undersigned establishments for !j the purpose of releasing expert mechanics for government work: M 1. We will discontinue all unnecessary and free service and in-I in-I spections. . 2. Our salesroom, repair shop and all service departments will be closed at 6:00 p. m. daily, and- all day Sundays and holidays. I 3. In order to - eliminate ' unnecessary office work,, the govern- . ment has requested that all business, be conducted as economically ' and efficiently as - possible. Charge accounts will be discontinued. All parts,' repairs, labor and accessories will be C. O. D. - j - v ' ,. - i It will be the patriotic duty of every owner to make all minor adjustments and repairs to the end that every ex- I , pert mechanic available for war work may be released to the government. I . Owners are urged to see that their tools are in order, that jack and pump are in working condition, that extra I tubes and tires are in proper repair and that other necessary equipment is in condition to enable them to take i care of emergency repairs on the road.
