Show NEGRO CONVICTED OF HAVING LIQUOR Special to The Tribune. OGDEN", ' July 27. Sam McClure, colored, col-ored, was found guilty of having liquor in his possession in the city court this morning and was sentenced by Judge George S. Barker to pay $150 or serve ninety days In jaJl. McClure paid the fine. When the officers from tho sheriff's department de-partment searched the McClure home for the liquor they also found pencils and stationery which McClure is alleged to have taken from the forest service sup-ply sup-ply depot, where 'he is employed as a 'jprk. The local officers said they had received any advices as to what acrKn would be taken hy the government govern-ment against McClure. |
