Show RED TRIANGLE CAR DRAWS ATTENTION Workers in Charge Report Crowds in Attendance at Stops, and Ask for Extension of Time. Reports to the state council of defense de-fense from F. W. Bross and J. E. Caster, Cas-ter, in cljarge of the Bed Triangle car now in the central part of the state, indicate in-dicate that the war welfare work exhibit ex-hibit is "playing to crowded houses" everywhere it goes. The exhibitors even ask more time than has been allotted,' al-lotted,' in order that they may respond to extra calls for visits to communities not included in their itinerary. In Carbon county last week the car visited six towns, and entertained nearly 3000 persons, making about 280 miles in reaching the several places. "At Eoosovelt," the letter says, "we were obliged to repeat the program pro-gram to accommodate the crowd, and about 125 were at tho last entertainment. entertain-ment. At Park City the largest hall iu town was secured for us, but many were unable to gain admission. At Duchesne the people came from a distance dis-tance of many miles around." |
