Show - SPANISH FORK SPANISH FORK, Nov. 23. Airs. Josephine Jo-sephine Arnold and L. D. Thompson, a geologist for the Elk Basin Uintah Oil company, were married Friday of last week at Provo. Mrs. Thompson is the proprietor of the Arnold hotel in this city and Mr. Thompson is a former resident resi-dent of Salt Lake Otty. They will make their home here. When the newly married couple returned from Provo at 6 o'clock I ?i the evening, they were welcomed by about fifty of their friends, who had gathered at the hotel to receive them. The evening was spent in music and danc-insr, danc-insr, followed bv supper at H o'clock. Mrs. Li. L.. Palmer of Salt Lake City is making an extended visit with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. L.. O. Lawrence of this ciiv. Mrs. John Robertson and Mrs. ll!a May of Lowell. Wye, are visiting here for a few weeks with friends and relatives. Mrs. Belle O. Kng'oerg of Salt Lake City ' visited friends here Sunday. Mrs. F. A. Shepard of Los Angeles, Cal., was in this city the first of the week. Len Hughes, son of Mr. and Mrs. ,T. B. Hughes, has returned to military training at Camp Kearny after a short furlough spent in Spanish Fork. Mrs. Joseph Holder of Salem left. Thursday for Salt Lake City. F-hc was called there by the illness of her son. Jack. Miss Bessie Banks and brothers, Arthur, Ar-thur, Jennings and Spencer, have returned re-turned from Delta, where they had been for a month. Miss Merle Stewart is visiting at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Uri Stewart. |
