Rennie. presiding. The i report given by the treasurer, J. II. Cam- eron, showed the chapter to be on a well-j well-j grounded financial basis. A balance of j $303$. SKi was in the treasury on November 1, It l S. as against a balance of $i'27.U) on November 1, 1I17. This chapter has a membership or' with seven active tranches in the county. As for the actual work accomplished by this chapter, t he reports of the various committees were most gratifying. For the last iied Cross drive the treasurer, J. P. Foiger, reported that the sum of $ll,fil-M5 was raised, fully 50 per cent over the allotment al-lotment of J75IKI. C. C. Voeller, chairman of the used-clothes drive, reported that 3837 articles, weighing 53S0 pounds, had been shipped to the Belgian relief com-mittpe. com-mittpe. although the chapter was asked for only 100 pounds. Articles which could not be sent were sold for junk and in this manner ?ii.jS was added to the Red Cross funds. i The Industrious knitters of the chapter, completed 20tJ," articles, and 35,373 gai -t ments, bandages and the like have been 1 forwarded to headquarters in Denver. In i addition to these, sixty-seven decks of playing cards and sixty Victrola records were sent in. Due to the influenza epidemic, the work of the Junior Red Cross committee has been greatly handicapped, although It reporter! re-porter! at the close of school in the spring that Kvanston schools were 100 per cent in organization, while nine rural schools effected organization, making a total ot S.",7 members.
