Show URGES U. S. CONTROL OF 1919 WOOL CLIP WASHINGTON", Nov. 23. Urging- the gnvomment fully to protect the interests of the wool growers of the United States, Senator W. H. King b,as been holding a series of conferences with officials of the wa r industries board and war trade board and is quite hopeful that a favorable policy will htt adopted. That t lie wrool men mny not ffieo heavy losses on next year's clip, Senator King urged the war industries board to m;-orr m;-orr mend tbat, if necessary, the government govern-ment take over the 191 'J wool clip. If that plan cannot be carried through, bo urges through the war trade board, that action ac-tion be taken, under authority conferred on that board, to prevent importations of foreign wool so tho American clip will be sure of a good market. Both boards, have promired to investigate inves-tigate the situation carefully and early decision is looked for. |
