Show OCCUPATION ARMY CONTINUES ADVANCE INTO HUN COUNTRY PARIS, Friday, Nov. 22. Progress by the French army of occupation in Alsace and Lorraine was reported by the French official statement issued by the war office tonight. The statement reads: "The occupation of successively delivered deliv-ered localities in Lorraine and Alsace continued today amid the magnificent enthusiasm en-thusiasm of the people. Col mar was solemnly sol-emnly entered by General de Castelnau, who was greeted by the acclamations of the whole population. "From the Moselle as far south as the Vosges line, reached today, comprised Thtonville. Bouzonville, Wolckllngen, Sarreguemlncs and Bltche. "In Alsace our advance guards have reached Reiports wilier, Roerach,. Danen-dorf, Danen-dorf, Gendertheim and Gendenhelm, after having entered Ingelmlller, Kouxviile and lirumath, where they were given a touching touch-ing reception. "The flag of the Twentieth colonial regiment, which was burled at Villers-sur-Semoy in 1!H4, has been recovered and returned with military honors to the colonial army by the 20-1 th regiment of Infantry." |
