The University Uni-versity of Pennsylvania football team defeated de-feated Swarthmoie, 13 to T. in a closely contested game today on Franklin fieid. Pennsylvania outplayed the visitors in tho first two periods, but was forced to fight hard to retain the advantage during the second half. Braun proved' to be the hero of the Pennsylvania offense, while Gelges, who made a fifty-three-yard run for Swarth-more's Swarth-more's only touchdown, was tho star of the Garnet team.
