Show liSIX-iltiSl Young Vill Meet St. Claire and Bromeo Will Mix With Mack. With Soldier Cull Young and Willie St. Claire aud Kid Bromeo and Kid Mack all primed for the doubleheador bill at the Grand tomorrow night, and at least two other battles that promise to be genuine slug tests from gong to gong, the local boxing fans are looking forward to a great entertainment. Young has shown the fans a genuine "Battling Is el son ' ' stylo of milling that has been a revelation to local followers of the game, taking the hardest puiichps of the local battlers with never a flinch. On the other hand, Willie St. Claire has shown the fans more real class than any boy who has stepped into a local ring in some time, anil the result of this bout will no doubt depend upon whether wheth-er the colored boy can It Young hard enough to slow him down. If he can, he will probably romp home a winner. While these boys cannot be classed with such gladiators as Joe Cans and Battling Bat-tling Nelson, their styles are as similar as it is possible to imagine, and the outcome will naturally be watched with intense interest. In the other main event of six rounds Kid Mack will endeavor to reverse the decision that Bromeo gained over him a couple of, months ago. Mack was not in the best of condition at -that time and has been smarting under that defeat de-feat ever since, with the result that he has been doing some training and getting in shape for a return engagement, engage-ment, and judging from the manner in which he has been going in his last few battles at the Grand, it would not be. surprising to see him bring home the long end of the money. When Kid Dutch and 'Battling Mid-kiff Mid-kiff cut loose their heavy artillery the faus will probably see one of the best slugfests that has been staged here this season, as both of these men are willing mixers and have a real wallop along with it, so it will probably be a case of give-and-take until one or the other connects wdth a vital spot. Dick Cull en, the Provo college boy, who created quite a sensation at tne club a couple of weeks ago when he stood toe to toe with Al Fal.er and came out second best, is not disheartened disheart-ened in the least and will have another try this week when he meets -Kid Davis of Ogden. While Davis knows more about the game than Palzor, he doesn 't pack Palzer's wallop and it is doubtful if-he can stand up under as many sledge hammer drives. Young Alva ra do and Phil Daly," a couple of new boys, will furnish the first preliminary, and as both of them have shown considerable ability in the gym and a willingness to battle, they will no doubt make things interesting. The regulation pair of soldiers from the fort will furnish the amateur curtain cur-tain raiser.
