Gerlinger, Pacific coast sales manager for the Selden Truck Salea company of Rochester, N. Y., holds the record in these parts for the largest individual sale of motor trucks made in Salt Lake by a traveling salesman. sales-man. A little order for $70,950 worth of motor' trucks did not seem to excite Uerlinger in the least, however, who seems to be a man accustomed to doing big business and talking big figures. The purchaser of this record order is the Intermountain Motor Car company, which has contracted to handle Selden trucks in this territory and started out with on initial order of five carloads of trucks to be delivered January L Berlinger is to be congratulated upon having made such an important deal for his company, and W. H. White, manager of the Intermountain Motor Car company, is also to be congratulated congrat-ulated upon having secured the agency tor so excellent a truck as the Selden for his concern. The Selden truck ranks among the best on the market and, according to White, will be a hard contender for high honors iu this territory, ter-ritory, both from a standpoint' of numerical nu-merical tales and the satisfaction to purchasers. The first shipments for the Intermountain Inter-mountain Motor Car company will include in-clude models of the entire line, from the light delivery "model G" up to the mammoth five-ton heavy duty model. The light delivery models, according to White, possess the unusual advantage of being worm drive trucks and will be the fastest, strongest and most economical Huht delivery trucks on the market iu this locality. , |
