W, i McClure, secretary of the National Wool- ! growers' association, from Mr. Cotton of i the federal food administration at Wash- ington, states that the Hoover adminis- i tration has asked no restriction on the j use of lamb as food meat except on meat- j less days. This telegram was in response to two telegrams sent from here to the food administration ad-ministration setting forth that the "prevailing "pre-vailing impression that there was a general gen-eral bar against consumption of lamb was threatening serious loss to owners of fed lambs and would jeopardize the raising of fed lambs by sheep growers if the government -Insisted upon maintaining maintain-ing a bar against the consumption of lamb. |
