Show PANTAGES THEATER TO TREAT ORPHANS 1 The orphans of Salt Lake '-will be assured as-sured of at least one happy hour on Christmas day as the result of the generosity gen-erosity of Frank Newman, manager of Pant ages theater. Mr. Newman is making mak-ing arrangements lo have a Christmas tree on the stage of the theater at 10 o'clock on the morning of Christmas day. On the tree will be a present for every little orphan in attendance. Mr. Newman has extended his invitation invita-tion to St. Ann's orphanage and to the Orphans' Home and Day Nursery, and it is expected that a large number of children will respond to the invitation. A Santa Claus will be in attendance and will distribute the presents which as the children enter will be found on the huge brilliantly-lighted Christmas tree. , After the performance on Christmas night the same big tree will be redecorated redecor-ated and hung with presents for all the employees and performers in the various Salt Lake theaters. Mr. Newman has extended an invitation to them to be present for a general jollification. |
