PLENTIFUL COMPANY NOW REORGANIZED Special to The Tribune. AMERICAN FORK, March 30. The Plentiful Mining & Milling- company has filed amendments to its articles of Incorporation Incor-poration increasing the capital stock from $30,000 to 540,000 and the number of shares from 600,000 to S00.000, the 200,000 shares' increase to remain in the treasury for development de-velopment purposes. The name of the company is chang-ed to the Monarch Mines company and the time of the regular annual an-nual stockholders' meeting is changed from July to the first Monday of January Jan-uary of each year. Letters are being1 sent out by Secretary Secre-tary J. wati Storrs to the stockholders of record to send their certificates In the Plentiful M. & M. company to be exchanged ex-changed for certificates under the new name of the Monarch Mines company. The new hoist and engine ordered some time ago Is expected to be on the ground very soon, and as soon as it is installed the work of extracting the ore will be started and the ore that is already out i wilj be shipped to the smelters. It is the intention of the management to continue regular shipments at the rate of from one to two cars per week. The property is located in the Lakeside mountains, just west of Salt Lake, and has a seventeen-mile wagon haul to Delle, a station on the Western Pacific. There is a six-foot vein of carbonate ore in a drift from an incline shaft which is 175 feet deep. This opened up from a few inches wide to this width in a few days, and seems to be getting larger.
