WOMEN TO DISCUSS RETARDATION WORK A meeting of the Federation of Women Wom-en 's clubs has been called at the Commercial Com-mercial club for Monday afternoon to hear from the women members of the Inst legislature in relation to what wns done, or at least what was sought to be done, to provide means for caring for the feeblo-minded of the state. A bill which was introduced in the house making an appropriation to establish estab-lish colonies for the feeblo-mindod and to care for them, met defeat. On account ac-count of the financial condition of the state it was made apparent soon after the bUl appeared that it would never get througli the legislature.
