The market for coffee futures was quiet, but steady, today, to-day, with prices working slightly higher on the smaller Brazilian receipts, reports i that Santos was still clearing consider-iable consider-iable coffee for Europe, and steady mll-! mll-! reis prices in the primary markets. The : opening was quiet and unchanged, but I May sold up to 7.08c and December to 1 7.45c during the morning, with the money ! list closing at a net advance of 2 to 4 points. Sales, 10.500 baes.
