One of the b'ttar-terest b'ttar-terest opponents of compulsory military mili-tary service, or conscription, is John Dillon, the Irish Nationalist leader. Although Ireland is specifically exempted ex-empted - from the workings of the Asquith scheme, Dillon threw all the weight of his influence in parliament and sot his oratorical ability against the measure. |
