Charges of cruelty In that his wife accused him of spending spend-ing his lime and money with so-called "lady friends," and that she slept in the afternoons in order to scold and find fault until ;: and 4 o'clock in the morning, morn-ing, are made by Carl C. Rasmussen. a well-known real estate dealer, who started start-ed suit in the. district court today for divorce from Nellie Rasmussen. They were married in this city December Id. i )9(0, according to the complaint, and there Is one minor child, Carl Rasmus-sen. Rasmus-sen. 4 years of age. The alleged acts of cruelty extend over a period from December 1, 19AS, until September 4. 1 F 1 r. , at which time the husband ceased to live with t he defendant. defend-ant. It is averred in the complaint. Mr. Rasmussen contends that he was caused great mental distress by his wife's accusations ac-cusations that he was neglecting his business and "spending- his" time with and squandering his money upon certain so-called 'lady friends,' " which charges, it Is related in the complaint, are untrue. un-true.
