The French minister has demanded the surrender of two Swiss citizens who served in the French Foreipn legion and are charged with desertion by the French military authorities. au-thorities. The alleged deserters recently arrived here from Constantinople. They said they had been captured by the Turks on Galllpoli last June. They were in a hospital for some time. Later they were tO be sent to the Interior of Asia Minor, but a member of the German embassy took an interest in them and in November Novem-ber brought about their release on parole. pa-role.
