Show ARTHUR COPP GOES TO WASHINGTON, D. C. Popular Associated Press Official, Well Known Here, Is Transferred to the East. Arthur W. Copp, superintendent of the western division of the Associated. Press, with headquarters in San Fran- , ciseo, has been transferred to the superintendence- of the southern division, with headquarters in Washington. D. C. Mr. Copp is well known is Salt Lake City. His friends here will be sorry to know he is leaving the west, but as his new division is larger, they will be glad to learn of his promotion. Some years ago Mr. Copp was manager in Salt Lake for the Associated Press, and since his incumbency as superintendent of the western division has visited here many times. Mr. Copp will pack his golf sticks and his typewriter and take him to Wahin-ton Wahin-ton along about February 1. He succeeds as head of the southern division Robert Rob-ert T. Small, who has been assigned to service in the London bureau of the "A. P." E. T. '"'ntter, for many years in the service of the "A. P. ,J at Kansas City and Chit-ago, will take Mr. Copp 's place as superintendent of the western division. |
