Show LOGAN HOOPERS GET READY FOR THE YEAR LOO AN, Dec. 7. Basketball work 13 now in full swing at the Brigham Young college, where Coach .Toe Jenson expects to develop a fast team this winter. The "Y" men have been working out in light manlier for the last month and will now prepare for the season, which will start alter ihe holidays. Tonight the college team will meet an all-star team selected from old B. Y. players. .The B. Y. C. have lost nearly all of last year's men, but will be strengthened by the "addition of some fast hoopsters from other schools. Among these are Barlow, who was a star on the Oneida team of Preston for years, and Me.Brlde, who played at the Agricultural college last year and also was a fast man on the Cassia teaip of Oakley two years ago. Of the old men Coach Jenson will select from his high school team of last season, sea-son, as all the men have returned this year. These men are Neeley, Dunn, Allen, Al-len, Berntson, Home and a number of I other candidates. Basketball work will commence at the Agricultural college in another week, as the football men are taking a rest, as is Coach Watson. Captain Brig Johnson will call out the candidates next week. |
