Show MAY MEETLEOPARDS Northwest Champions Ask East High for Contest New Year's Day. The East high school may play another football same before the next gridiron season rolls around. Although everyone concerned thought the year was over for football with the playing of the Billings, Mont., game, yesterday Coach Tommy Fitzpatrick received a letter from the Walla Walla high school, champions of the northwest, asking for a game New Year's day in Walla Walla. Wash. Needless to way the warriors are eager to get this game, although it means back to training. Nevertheless, it is not every high school team that is offered two great trips such as the Leopards have had this season. All the uniforms have been . turned in for the year, hut it will be an easy matter to get the fellows out again i Monday and start practicing. The girls' athletic association n is giving the annual banquet, and the football players, coaches and others connected con-nected with the East high gridiron will be the guests. It promises to be a nifty affair, as of yore. Miss Dorothy Young, president of the girls' organization, is in charge and is being assisted by the directors. |
