Show HERMAN J. ROSSI SECURES DIVORCE Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO, Idaho, Dec. ".Herman J. Rossi, prominent resident of Wallace and former member of the state board of education, has been granted a divorce from Mabel A- Rossi on the ground nf infidelity in-fidelity by Judge J. M. Flynn of Coeur d'Alene. Clarence Dahlqulst. who was killed by Rossi last July, was named as co-respondent. Rossi, after a sensational trial, was acquitted of the murder of DahUtuist. In his original complaint habitual drunkenness, drunken-ness, as well as infidelity, was charged, but by mutual consent the charge of drunkenness was withdrawn. A cross complaint com-plaint was filed by Mrs. Rossi, alleging that the family home had been deeded to her anil t hat it was her sole and separate sep-arate property. She also alleged that this property hail been sold with her consent after the killing of Dahlquist for the purpose pur-pose of raising funds to defray the legal expenses incurred by Rossi in defending the murder charge. She asked for $17,000 as the proceeds of this property. The case against Mrs. Rossi went by default, Mrs. Ruth Melville, who was employed em-ployed at the Rossi home, being the only witness called. All of the Rnasi estate, which Is said to bo valued at approximately approxi-mately $10(1,000, was decreed to him. Mrs. Rossi aecepled a certain cash settlement, the exact amount of which has been kept secret. |
