Show ROWLAND HALL WILL HOLD BAZAAR TODAY Students Arrange Attractive Entertainment Entertain-ment Features to Raise Funds for Charity Purposes. The teachers and pupils of Rowland" Hall will hold their annual bazaar this afternoon and evening at the school, on Fvst avenue. Festivities begin at 4:30 arid continue until 11 o 'clock tonight. The purpose of the bazaar is to raise funds for charity. Many booths have been arranged for by the different organizations, of which each -of the academic classes will occupy occu-py one. The freshmen will operate a French gift shop, trimmed in black and white stripes and festoons of red roses. A Dutch booth, at which rolls and frankfurters will be served by the sophomores, soph-omores, will be an inviting "attraction. The junior class plans to conduct a lingerie lin-gerie booth to uphold its share of the charitable work. Several vaudeville performances will be presented by the seniors to add to the many activities. Miss Ruth Allen is in charge of the I eighth graders ' candy sn le. Fortune- ! telling is to be carried on in a cozy I 'corner, under the direct ion of Miss Churchill and Miss Claudia Pendleton. The zone and fashio,u show will be other oth-er attractions of the evening. Music by the following ukulele players play-ers is one of the features: Miss Dorothy Doro-thy Murphy, Miss Bowene Allison, Miss Katherine Prong-hall, Miss Gertrude Rose, Miss Alice Lundberg, Miss Selma Conover, Mi?s Pearl Bo wo en aud Miss Helenc Beviere. |
