Show GOVERNORS TO TALK ON STATE PROBLEMS Dunn of Illinois and Hunt of Arizona Will Speak at Conference to Be Hold in Washington. According to information received by Governor Spry, the principal addresses ad-dresses to be made at the governors' conference to be held in Washington, December 14 to 16, will be by Governor Edward F. Dunn of Illinois and Governor Gov-ernor F. W. P. Hunt of Arizona. The former is to read a paper on "Waterways "Water-ways from the Lakes to tho Gulf," und Governor Hunt will speak on the subject, sub-ject, "State Administration ' Prob-ferns. Prob-ferns. ' ' According to a letter received from Miles C. Riley, secretary of the conference, confer-ence, twenty -four governors have signified sig-nified their intention of attending the conference, six are doubtful of their ability to be present and eleven are unable un-able to attend. He states that eleven governors-elect have signified their intention in-tention of being present. It also is expected ex-pected that President Woodrow Wilson will be in attendance upon the conference. confer-ence. Governor Spry and Governor-elect Simon Bamberger will attend the conference. . Governor-elect Bamberger Bamber-ger will invite the conference to hold its meeting in Salt Lake next yehr during dur-ing the summer, and it is expected that the conference will come to Salt. Lake, especially in view of the fact that the meeting for this year was to have been held here, but had to bo postponed on account of the movement of state troops to the Mexican border. |
