Assisting in receiving were Mrs. A. Din wood ey, Mrs. -R. P. Morris and Mrs. -lames H. Moyle of Salt Lake. Mrs. I. L. Reynolds. Mrs. W. D. Brown. Mrs. Henry F Voiker and the Mioses Ulhan, Alberta and Rae Wright presided at the tea table, and Mrs. Joseph E. Wright, Miss Helen Jennings Jen-nings of Salt Lake, Mrs. Louise Ward and S Miss Dorothy Wright assisted tn the dining din-ing room. Miss Florence Dun and Miss Margaret Wright received the cards at the door. The dining room was In green and white, a basket of Easter lilies, with hows of green tulle, forming the centerpiece center-piece on the dining table. The other rooms were decorated with sp'ing blossoms. blos-soms. An orchestra rendered music during dur-ing the afternoon. y A beautifully appointed affair of the week was the Easter tea given by Mrs. Edwin F. Hundley Monday afternoon at her home, in compliment to Mrs. Adam Patterson and Mies Patterson of Hollywood. Holly-wood. Cal. The reception hall was deeo-ratod deeo-ratod with baskets of yellow Japanese iris and spring blossoms were used in the library. Baskets of pink sweet peas and snapdragons were effectively arranged in the i parlor. The dining room was attractive at-tractive wtth Eafiter lilies and yellow tulle. Throughout the afternoon Professor Profes-sor Erickson's orchestra furnished a programme pro-gramme of music. Mrs. Pa trick Healy, Mr. J. C. Lynch and Mrs. David Patter-son Patter-son assisted In receiving. Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. A. W. Walker, Mrs. Donald E. Rhivers. Mrs, W. H. A vVattii, MrB. M. S. Browning, Miss Doro-A Doro-A thea Browning and Miss Lucille Wallace. - Punch ws.fi served in the library by Mies Irma Eccles and Miss Mabel Moyea. Miss Tespfe Moves and Misses Margaret and Nona Wallace assisted in the dining room. One hundred guests called during the receiving re-ceiving hours. One of the most artistic recitals ever given In Ogden was that of Wednesday evening, when Miss Marguerite Toy, one of this city's talented violinists, was presented pre-sented In recital by the Sacred Heart academy conservatory of music. Miss Toy was assisted by several other artists of the school conservatory of music and the academy orchestra. A programme of exceptional merit was enjoyed by a large audience. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Herrick of Denver Den-ver announce the engagement of their aughter, Josephine, to Or. A. P. Preston of Rigby, Idaho, the marriage to take place the latter part of June.
