Interment, will he in the Hooper .rinetery. Mr. Manning was born in Bristol, Krigland, and came to Utah in 1834, settling set-tling first in Ogdcn. He was one of the pioneers in the development of the flection flec-tion of Weber county now known as Hooper and retained largo property interests in-terests there up to the time of his death. His wife, Mrs. Margaret Manning, died about seven years a'o, and since that time Mr. Manning had spent the major pat t nf his time in travel or with bis daughter, Lr. ,lane W. Skolfield. Known anil .beloved by hundreds of friends, Mr. Manning's death oamu u9 a nr.-at shock t" many, although it was known that ho had been eritb-ully ill for some weeks.
