Show CAFES MUST MAKE LICENSE SHOWINGS Assistant City Attorney Demands Information Infor-mation Concerning the Maxim and Bohemian Eating Places. Notice is to be served upon holders of the licenses for the .Mazim and Bohemian Bo-hemian cafes that they must file with the county clerk the statement of business busi-ness ownership required by law. This announcement was made yesterday by H. L. Mulliner, county attorney, the action ac-tion bein'g requested by W. H. Folland, assistant city attorney. The Bohemian cafe is successor to the Palm Garden cafe. The belief of the assistant as-sistant city attorney is that the license for the Bohemian and the Maxim cafes is held in each instance by persons other than the owners of the Dusiness. The license for the Bohemian cafe was issued just before reopening of the place, to F. S. Monney, according to Mr. Fol-land, Fol-land, while a new license was issued for the Maxim to George W. Vierra after the city commission nad revoked the license li-cense of the proprietor of the place a week ago. Properly applied for, the license in either case could not be refused, but the aim of the assistant city attorney is to determine whether or not the license of each cafe is held by some one having a proprietary interest in the business. |
