Show 1 1 ORE SHIPMENT 1 NETS COMPANY 53288; I j The last shipment of ore from the j i O. K. Silver Minine company's prop- ' erty, located at Indian Spring?, in j Tooele count", nerted ?3285, according to the management. The property is in excellent physical condition. Preparations Prepara-tions are being made to increase the output. To that end a roadway is being graded that will cut down the haul from the mine to the loading station, sta-tion, so that the distance will be about twenty-nine miles. Due to the condition of the roadways over which the ore had to be hauled heretofore, no attempt has been made to increase the production. C onser native na-tive mining men familiar with the prop-ertv prop-ertv are of the opinion that the ore shoot is the richest of any magnitude that has been opened up in Utah in the past twenty years. They are also of the opinion' that the Erickson district dis-trict is destined to become one of the largest silver-producing districts in Utah within the next three years' time. At the O. K. property a new 'boarding house is to be constructed that will cover an area of thirty by eighty feet. It will accommodate a much larger force of miners. The roadway now under construction will be completed by about the middle of May, and it is expected ex-pected that after that the production from the O. K. mine will be largely increased. 9 The property consists of a gToupof twentv-five claims, nineteen of which have "been patented. A considerable amount of money has been expended in developing the ground, having it patented, pat-ented, securing water supply and: in building roadways and equipping the property with the necessary mine buildings, build-ings, boarding houses and machinery. |
