The drift is out a distance of about seventy-five feet and the mineral is more evenly mixed throughout the vein materia than at any time heretofore. Though there is no commercial ore in sight, the prospects pros-pects are said to be exceptionally good. In the upper workings of the property, prop-erty, Known in the district as the Wellington Wel-lington workings, the lessees are breaking break-ing a very good grade of shipping ore. They have at present ready for shipment, ship-ment, just as soon as the teams can reach the property, in the neighborhood of 150 tons of ore. Besides the numerous nu-merous streaks of ore which may develop de-velop into ore bodies of commercial size, the lessees are at present working on three faces of shipping ore that average about three feet in width. For the purpose pur-pose of t roating a very large tonnage of milling ere that has been blocked out in the leased ground they will install a set ot jigs and are also considering putting in a crushing plant and a coa-eentrati coa-eentrati ng table. The holdings consist of 250 acres of patented ground. A large amount of high-grade ore has been taken from the old workings and in the upper workings work-ings at present there is exposed a large tonnage of milling ore. |
