Show Weli-Known Business Man Claimed by Death HARE.Y P. LYTLE. II HIRED eV HEY P. WILE Well-Known Business Man Succumbs Suc-cumbs to Cirrhosis of the Liver. Harry P. Tytle. one of the most popular popu-lar and widely known business men hi Salt Lake City, died at his home, SIS Ninth East street, at 6:-15 o'clock Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Cirrhosis of the liver was the cause of death and Mr. Lytic had been confined to his bed for three months. During all this time he had been unable U rest In any position except ex-cept wiuarely on his back. and. despite the fact that his physician and friends! knew that he would never leave his bed alh-e. Mr- Lytic never for one moment lost hope. As la.te as three days ngo. while racked with pain, he declared to the son of his partner that he would be down to his place of business within a few days. Mr. Lytic was born In Mlddletown. N. V.. August 14, 1S5I, and was therefore In his lifty-sixth year at the time of his death, lie was an expert accountant and when he first came west a quarter of a century ago he first went to San Francisco, Fran-cisco, where he held a number of lucrative lucra-tive positions. Twenty-one years ago lie came to Salt Lake. He was first in the employ of Brown. Terry Woodruff, and was later chief clerk in the office of the county assessor. SI 111 later he occupied othor positions of trust In county and city offices, until fourteen years ago, when he formed a partnership with Georo Olsen, and the Arm became the Salt Lake City agents of the Anheuser-Busch Anheuser-Busch Brewing company. Seventeen years ago Mr. Lytic was married to Miss Agnes Paulsen, who survives sur-vives him. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made. |
