Fete for Old Folks. Special to The Tribune. CENTER FIELD, March 1. One of the most successful social events in this community com-munity was given In honor of the old folks of this vicinity. The committee commit-tee was appointed several weeks ago and has been working hard to make this event a success. Christian nnd George Poterson were in charge of the committee commit-tee and much credit Is duo them for having hav-ing made it a success. In the early part of the afternoon tho old people wore entertained en-tertained at a dinner. Four guests were more than 80 years of age, eighteen past 70, thirty-four past CO and sixty-four past HO. Following the banquet Impromptu Im-promptu speeches, songs and recitations kept all of the company In good humor. A number of reminiscences wero interestingly inter-estingly told by the pioneers and aire. Howard was Introduced as a pioneer who came to Utah In the year ISIS. In the evening a dance followed. The old people peo-ple took an active part.
