Five ballots taken today were devoid of significance. So fast did the dead- J lock appear that Senator McCarthy, the J Democratic floor leader, after the third ballot, moved the dissolution of the joint as?.embly. Senator Uallwey pro-tested, pro-tested, saying that the Democrats liad jH agreed to take five ballots today and to H ballot tomorrow from noon until final jH adjournment.
