Daynes yesterday tendered his resignation as general manager, secretary sec-retary and director of the Consolidated Music company, positions which Mr. Day now occupied" since tho organization of the company. Mr. Daynes's retirement takes place April 1. He will take a vacation va-cation far three months, after which ho will put Into effect business plans which he has In view. Alvin A. Beeslcy has been selected acting manager of the Consolidated Con-solidated and will assume the place upon Mr, Daynes'6 retirement. For many vcars Mr. Daynes waa a member of the Clav-tun-Dayncs Music company, the predecessor prede-cessor of tlie Consolidated.
