Tlnsley, director of the Uranium steamship line, who is now In Berlin, has boon prohibited from returning to Holland. This drastic action of tho Dutch authorities au-thorities is the outcome of the trans-Atlantic emigrant traffic dispute which arose from Germany's refusal to permit Russians Rus-sians returning from America aboard tho steamer Vollurno to pass through Gor-many. Gor-many. Tlnsley Is a British subject. Tho order of the crown forbidding his presence In Holland was received this morning by the chief commissioner of police. It Is based upon the law governing the residence resi-dence of foreigners in Hollnnd. Tlnslev returned here .later In the day and was notified by the police of the decree de-cree prohibiting his residence In Hollnnd. Ho started forthwith for The Hague to seek the protection of the British legation. It is explained that the decree was issued is-sued because Tlnsley, despite government authorities, had persisted In trying to land Russian emigrants here, although Gormany had refused to permit their pas-sago pas-sago through that, country unless they were provided with passports.
