OCR Text	Show ALLEGED CRUELTY IN REFORM SCHOOL ST. PAUL. March 1. The Joint legislative- in eslica.tinK committee in session ses-sion here heard evidence last night lending to substantiate the charges that boys in the state school for delinquent boys at Red Wing were severely flogged for Infraction of tho rules. Several witnesses, chiefly inmates of the school, testified they had received such whippings, when from thirty to 150 lashes were administered. The boys charged attendants wfith shackling them to walls by tho wrists and thumbs, afid with kicking and striking strik-ing tnem.
