Show many attend funeral of Charles Murray The funeral of Charles Murray was held Wednesday from tho Pioneer chapel on Fifth South between West Temple and First West streets. Tho services wove conducted by the Fourth ward bishopric Councilor C. A. Sparry presided. pre-sided. Tho chapel was well filled by relatives rela-tives and friends of Mr. Murray und those who knew him here and In his native Scotland. The services were opened with the singing of the hymn, by tho ward choir, "I Need Thee Every Hour." The speakers speak-ers wcro Rlsliop C. II. Worthcn, Alexander Alexan-der UucliannHn. Jr.. 1'rcsldent William McLaclilan, George G. Smith and William Cook. The hymns, in addition to that stated, were: "Oh. Death, Where Is Thy Victory?" and "Xearcr, My God, to Thee." The benediction was pronounced by Councilor William P. Silver. |
