Show 1 MURRAY SOCIETY Special to Tho Tribune. MURRAY, Dec. 5. Miss Lyle Ca-hoon Ca-hoon entertained for about a ecoro of her schoolmates Saturday in honor of her birthday anniversary. The home was quite tastefully decorated for the occasion. An entertaining programme was rendered and music and games participated in by all during the afternoon. after-noon. Later on a delicious luncheon was served on a long oval table, which was bright with different species of flowers. A simplo but pretty wedding was that of Miss Fanny Peterson and Ras Rasmussen, a co'lego man of Draper, j The marriage took place at tho Poler-son Poler-son home. The brido woro a gown of white messaline with lace trimmings and carried a great shower of bride's roses. The home was bright with flowers, flow-ers, masses- of pink chrysanthemums decorating the parlors wherej the cero-mon.v cero-mon.v was performed. Following tho wedding a reception to nearly 100 friends and close relatives of tho young people was given. Miss Helane Myers and 2s. L. Jensen, Jen-sen, both of this place, wore united in marriage the fore part of the week. The' young men of the Murray Dramatic Dram-atic association will entertain the coming com-ing week at a musical festival to bo I held at the first ward chapel. j ! Arthur Wood entertained at his homo on Fourteenth South street Saturday ! evening at a stag party, at which there wore about a score of young men, all college chums of his. Mrs. J. A., Strong will leavo for Portland Monday, where she goes to spend the holidays with relatives. Miss Alice Hardy entertained Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at the home of her parents on East Sixteenth South street. The event was in honor of her sixteenth birthday anniversary. |
