Resi-lutions Resi-lutions to that effect were drafted and adopted, and copies were telegraphed tonight to President Theodoro Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Senators Thomas Carter and Joseph M. Dixon and Congressman Charles N. Pray. Sentiments expressed by several prominent speakors condemning as a subterfuge and unwarranted proceeding the efforts of certain persons to bring about tho closing of a groat industry through governmental interventjou wore heartily sanctioned. |
