Donavan of the bureau of public roads of the United Stales forest service, who lias been in I his city for the past two weeks in the interest of tho betterment of the public thoroughfares hero, was tho guest of honor at an oyster supper yiven by the members of the Cominor-I Cominor-I cial hotel at. tho Union hotel Mouday night. There wcro about twenty-fivo of I tho mombors of tho club present. Miss TChoda Larson entertained at her homo Saturday afternoon, in honor of Miss- Patra Anderson, Miss Alice Lund and Miss Solder Kasniusson. Mr. and Mrs. C. Johnson wore the guests of Mr. and Mrs. David Poulson at a diuncr Thursday evening. Miss Patra Anderson was tho hostess at a social Saturday evening. Lunch Was served, covers being laid for eight, A delightful musical programme was rendered. An enjoyable party was held Monday night at tho homo of Mr. and Mrs. C. C, A. Chrislensen, in celebration of their wedding anniversary. More than forty-friends forty-friends of Mr. nnd Mrs. Christensen wore present and a musical and literary programme was rendered. Mrs. Ephraim Hanson entertained at a Kensington Wednesday afternoon. Ten ladies were present. . |
